Oh My Billy..

Monster roots.

They look a lot different than the roots I find around here. Not just the size, but the shape and lack of smaller hair roots.

Must be some difference in the soil, or just the overall growing conditions that accounts for that.

PS .. I usually dig 50-100 roots to get that kind of weight.

Cultivated or wild?

Those are wild they look white because the buyer wanted them scrubed good and dryed clean for shipment but they are certianly wild,if you look even after a good tooth brush cleaning they have deep growth rings/circles.

I am drying 3 pound of roots that weigh over 1 ounce eatch i am very interested in the weight wet to dry on these big mtn roots this is the first order of its kind like this where they want huge root and dry them very clean,if ou notice on the table i have sevral more scrubed like this for that order.

Today and Tomorrow I am going to the woods thanks to my Family covering the fort for me my wife,son and soninlaw have decided that if they dont let me go to the woods for more than 4 hours im not going to be happy so they gave me two days to see if i can dig 2 pounds Im gonna try
