Billy, congrats on a great week of senging! 2 and a half pounds in 2 days is just awesome. Looks like it is hanging on pretty good for you guys down there. It is starting to fade pretty quickly around here now most will be gone within the next week or so. Getting rain now and the tree leaves are starting to fall.

Just A Senging - you are so right it is sutch a joy I will never forget my best root and the joy it gave me I was hooked for life.
The big roots that I/We find in this country can be high or low I have found big roots in all good hunting areas,but the bigger
part has come from deep in the woods,but that is due partly to me always prefering to go deep but when I have found good spots
low I have also found goos seng low in this area.

rickyc - I have hurt alot from ginseng hunting but i as you all have went to bed many a night and not slept mutch just wanting to get up and go and visions of red berrys lord lord I may have saw more in my sleep than in reality LoL

5prong - Thnks Bro,,,and Yea it does still look ok but the yellows are starting to show maybe 2 1/2 to 3 weeks left.

My Very Favorite 1 Root Of the Bag

This root has alot of charecter and sevral desirable peaces to eat and age just the perfect root for fresh tea to me.A cup of tea made from this root right before leaving for a day of hunting or travling thats good stuff right there for the arthuritus im telling you guys if you have arthur then try ginseng just dont over use it if you have high blood pressure if you may want to know how mutch etc call me It has truly helped me.

It sure is Billy, how many growth buds did that thing have on it for next year? Did it just have one top this year? I'm viewing on my phone, so its kinda hard to see the details. Congrats on some good finds.
