TOPIC: opening day...

i ate some turtle, rice, and clams and it was mighty good.....

Chief, I had fried snapping turtle once. It wasn't to bad. Love some fried clams too.

44,thats the way we eat it,fried most times this time we lightly browned it in a skillet with the clams then put it in the crock pot with the rice and steamed it for 4 hours..man it was tender as a eyeball...putting up beans now....

caught this varmit eating my green beans today..he has been removed from the garden...

We have eaten so much okra this year... think I am going to turn into okra. Love that stuff.

Did you hunt any Seng this year ? I would love to see some pictures.

I only went one time myself.

i didnt hunt this year, about a month ago i had a light stroke.iam trying to work my way through this..i sure wanted to hunt this year.i have a little numbness in my right fingers but iam doing what the doctors tell me to do so i hope it will get better in time..

Hate to hear that Chief. I hope you're able to work through the rehabilitation fast and successful. I'm not digging this year either, because of some personal issues (not health related) I'm going through. Man o man I was really looking forward to it this year. I hope to be back at it next year.
