they are stsrting to turn up here too..found 12 or more yesterday that were yellow...

Nice roots TN, and great pictures as well.

Well... another Saturday morning in seng season - Sept 27 - hit the woods and found a few good ones.

Started off checking some of my wild simulated.

Many of them are down already, but found a nice little 2 prong up in one of my beds and checked out the root.

Not bad... except this one is 4 years old. But in this location this is about what I was expecting.

Hunted some bluff area... and as usual found some good ones.

That one had a little ball root and then a straight shoot...

See that a lot around here.

Red berries continue today..

Even the little fellows pretty much all had a few red berries to plant.

This one here was the Mack Daddy of the day...

Nice 4 and big wad of berries.

Ended up with another half pound of green... and some nice chunky bluff roots too. Sweet.

Now here is how you can decorate with Ginseng...
