Chicks - nice pic ! Looks like you are off to a great start this year.

I got off work today around 4:30 and headed to the woods. Hunted another hollow close to home here.

Man it sure is starting to get dark earlier. Seems like I did not get to hunt long.

I did find a bunch of decent 3 prongers and planted a bunch of red berries.

Ended up with 7 oz.

Below is a pic of some of the best ones. Noting real big, but some nice fairly bulby root.

Adding to the pile... hope to get in a longer hunt tomorrow.

Those r some nice chuncky roots tnhunter

I hunted another couple short hollows close to home saturday morning.

Ended up with half pound of basically the same type of root. Several of these had nice long necks in the 20-30 year range.

Had a good pic of them but it got deleted off my camera

Below are a few pics of the tops. Nothing real big - just 3 prongers as usual.

It is the peak of big fat red berry time here.
