Found a couple turning a little today,and sevral that where still green,but laying down on the ground,it want be but another 2 weeks or so untill most of ours will be turning im sure,then 2 more and its over most likely,I have noticed that our digging season is longer than alot of others,but I cant remember a time when I dug untill the season ended,it has always fell before then.
Billy thats great, you still got plenty of time then, our's ain't going to last that long..i was starting to feel like i was being greeded so its time for me to quit for this year..today will most likly be my last hunt of the year....
billy those are some good looking roots..i took a couple of them mile hikes this year..your right it sure is good to get home..i will admit i'm going to be a little over my limit this year...the way i look at it, if you put a limit on yourself you will always have spot's to look the following year..billy i'm rooting for you to get that last 6 pounds..if yours is just turning yellow i know you will make it..good luck on your next outing my friend...
Our seng is still green 85 0/0 or more of it.This bunch I found today is still holding 3 or 4 green berrys,that gives you an idea of how unusaly good or seng is standing this season,realy neat. http://www.wildgrown.[img size=512]
