TOPIC: Seng Season Open In Ky

Season has opened in Ky and I am so happy have been 3 hunts and done good so far around 3 lbs in the 3 trips a few roots around 1 ounce are the biggest found thus far in weight,nice seng,but still hunting for the old boys will post some pics l8er.

Way to go Billy I haven't actually got to go yet, but at work today i looked for about thirty minutes off of logging roads and found about 15 bunches. One really big bunch. It is pretty weird though most of them have long necks some showing 25 plus years and the roots aren't big at all. The tops even on the big root i fount had a little top. But i plan on going in the morning for awhile. Anyways good luck Billy

Glad you found a few bunches today,I to have found seng like that and in all onesty I do not know what causes that in some areas of seng.

Today I got to go back for a few hours got 7 5/8 ounces.Not many roots but good wright,found 7 --- 4 prongs today,will show some pictures soon.....

Cheiftain I didnt realise that your season opened that much after ours did.We open August 15 here in Kentucky.
