TOPIC: western nc prices

Prices seem to keep coming on up. Most every dealer said they would match the higher money and all acted like they really wanted to buy or at least look to make an offer. Makes me wonder how bad they are wanting it?

.....they are wanting it ..lets see how bad they want it..

As of Tuesday 11/22/11 Richard Smith in Marion is at $535 and Donald Phillips in Bakersville is at $525, I don't know if were going to ring to many more dollars out or not this year, I think mine may get sold this week or next.

Going to hold mine till the week before Christmas. If I can get $560 I will be happy

Up to $545LB around the area today. Have one buyer that isn't buying after this week. May have to sell at $550LB. Thats $86 an hour for the work I did. Sounds fair to me.

The market for good NC roots is stronger today.
