Thanks trapper, it sure felt good to get in there and get a little dirty, lol. I thought to myself if I get to hot I'll just jump in the river! It's a good little spot close to home, but there's other people that hunt that spot to, which can make it a little tricky. That's ok though I'm not greedy I'll share a few. There's few people that will tread where wildspirit is willing to go to find those big ones, lol. Most people will hunt those hollows, but overlook the thickets. I may hit the mountain in the morning if I can dodge the rain!

Well, after two days of solid rain I finally got some time on the mountain this morning. It was overcast and pretty darn cool riding the 4 wheeler to my spot. It was foggy and misty most of the morning, and nice and quiet. The woods were very still, great morning to be out. I managed 12.5 oz's for about 3 hours. Can't wait to go back awesome ridge side that seems to go on forever, but extremely steep. I'll need two bowls of wheaties next time, lol.
