I didn't go out in the boondocks today, but instead stayed close to home and hit a new spot that I got permission to dig. I only got a dozen or so in the 12 - 20 yo range but I did get this nice one! Almost 2 oz. Real tough digging, lots of rocks!

You can see all the stinky rocks I had to get out. This took a while to get out in good shape.

I did manage to put well over 100 berries in the ground. That felt good!

One more day close to home tomorrow, then I should be off to the land of the old and big!

Love to see your root pictures. Real beauties.

No wonder you always fetch a high price.

Great job of digging... not many diggers could get one that long out with out breaking off some of the fine root.
