TOPIC: 3-leafers GALORE ! 04/28/2011

Hey Guys,

I have the day off work today and took a stroll down to the hollow where I planted wild-simulated this fall/winter.

Here is what things are looking like today 04/28/2011 here in Middle Tennessee.

First - here is what this spot looks like that I have several beds in. It is on the upper end (nearer to the head) of the hollow.

Here is a pic of my first planting bed that was done using Hankins Method.

Can't say it was a complete success though.

I do have 4 beds (all from same seed souce) that have very poor germination.

In a 30' x 5' (150 sf bed) I looked hard and counted 22 seedlings up.

The other 3 larger beds (50 x 5) had very similar low germination rates.
