You do make some impressive beds (nice and large and long).. and have some bueatiful woods there too.
I went thru some of my first year planting bed pictures and pulled some out to post.
Here is the first bed I made (my seed producing bed).
This pic shows it near the end of the bed construction phase. I laid strips of gypsum board over the bed and the seng roots would be planted in between those strips. That way over the next few years that gypsum board would break down and continuously add calcium to the soil. I had already put into that bed, 6 - 5 gal buckets of rock chip filled soil from one of the best ginseng growing hollows I know of, and also added some gypsum, bonemeal, epson salt, and a couple hundred pounds of composted peat.
Below is what it looked like after applying the gypsum board.
