TOPIC: Pictures Of Berrys Turning

Well guys a couple of weeks ago I was concerned with the berrys turning by the open of season,but I am starting to relax alot now because me and my Nephew went and checked a area today that we seng together and 4 plants where showing red berrys,one of the plants where all red alot of others where starting to show there faze of green to red.I am very happy of this.Thought I would share a few Pictures of those plants.

thats great billy i have not seen the frist red one yet this year and i seen about 200 plants...U all have had alittle more rain then what we had this year storms seem to die when they were going over the mts...

Nice Billy! I went to a spot last night to hopefully plant some red berries but they were all green. I's just a small patch that I am not planning on digging this year, but it's looking a lot better, lots of youngins!

RedDog the rain has been very good over this way,that was what made me think the green berrys where not fazing quick enough,but I was mistaking there doing fine now.

Maya that sounds like a great little dig later on and that is a sure good way of keeping a eye on them berrys as well.

I had time to go look at a few today and saw even more berrys turning and a large 4 pronger solid red,I wanted to take a picture to show it but forgot my camera today,something I do not usaly do.

One more week to go for you huh! I've got til the 20th.

You too! I took the 20th off just to get in the woods for the day. I have to work the next day though.

i've been learned a lot from you.

I have a questions. Could you say your answer?

1)How can i get a wild ginseng harvest permit in KY or other state?
( Can i buy permit at Walmart or K-mart --- license agent?)
Do i have to buy Forest Supervisor?s Office?

2)How can you protect from snack, bear, montain lion and poison ivy and so on...

3)How can you find right spot?

If it's possible, i really want to meet you and talk about the Ginseng and business.^^
