SPRING......ready to see some mushrooms and some fishing and some green SENG.....

Won't be long. Hope to find a few shrooms by mid April if the weather is right. But most likely they will be at their peak from the first week of May to mid May. I'll be out scouting around mid April though.
Fishing and green ginseng are at the top of my list too!!!

Me too, we got teased a couple weeks ago and got up in the upper 40's, then we got down to -18!

its been warm here the last two days but very strong wind..

man what a great day weather wise..still 67 degrees..i think it broke 70 today..i was outside all day and enjoyed it..stays this warm and the boats coming out...

well was a short spring...snow storm moves in tonight.4 to 8 inches of snow,40 to 50 mph wind...

iam under a blizzard warning today..its a beast out there today...

It was nice here in middle TN last Saturday... and I did a short wade on a small local river.

It had rained some and the river was up a foot or more... but I just had to get out there and try to catch a few.

Ended up with one Smallie and one Black Perch. Water is still quite cold (got over my chest waders once when I tripped over a log while in deeper water)... and I don't uaually have much luck when the river is up and running. Hard to fish slow like you need to in cold water when the current is ripping along.

It sure felt good to get out and do something outside.

I hate this late winter stuff... come on spring !

Morels, Turkeys, Smallmouth Bass, breaking up ground and starting on the garden... now that is more like it.

it was 49 degrees when we went to work its now 31.rain, wind picked up, then spit a little snow.
