TOPIC: come on

well it never got real warm today but no wind,the sun felt like it had some power..stand out in the sunshine and it felt real warm .in the shade not so much..more rain to come...

went to a farm pond this afternoon, got a dozen crappie..

Love those Crappie Chief...

Wish I had a big pile of them.

I really like smallmouth, largemouth and black perch and catfish... but Crappie has them all beat just a little on taste and something about that extra white extra flaky crappie meat...

Next time the weather works out on a Saturday... I am going to head over to a small lake nearby and do my best to catch some crappie..

I went and looked yesterday where I planted some 3 Yr. old roots last fall and even though we have had 4 or 5 days in the mid to high 70's I didn't find any plants poking through yet !!! I sure am excited to see them start coming up...

nothing up here yet still to cold at night..
