Hey guys here is the largest root ive seen this year it tips the scales at 7 ounces, very very nice indeed dug in the Smith Ky area,an old root indeed. If you will notice the size of the root compared to the coofe jar and cups on the dish washer as well as the nobs and the washer its self, this is a true giant of the forest, hope you enjoy.

p.s. The root is not for sale....

Hey Bill, thats one friggin giant allright. Bet ya crapped yourself diggin that one. You should find a jar big enough to put the root in and fill it with good shine. It would be great on the mantle.
Bill is it sittin on the washer?

I'm friggin envious, good one. Tell us the story of the dig.

Is this is the only picture you got from the guy?

It's just hard to get a good feel for the size with it being so much closer to the camera than all the other objects in the picture. Be nice to see a picture of the root laying in someone's hand or laying on a table next to a dollar bill.

Still a really big root either way.

Guy this was dug by a another guy over from the Smith area, and he deals with my dealer,me and the dealer are good friends and he sent me this picture I was like you,,,,,man what a huge root, well at 7 ounces thats awsome,my dealer purchased the root.....

Ukfan I will ask Rick if he has some more photos of the root im sure he does and I will get him to e-mail them to me and post them.

Check this out guys the steam was over 40 inches high and the berry steam was 18 inches high, where the berry pod is there where also 12 small leafs growing around the pod, amazing for sure,i will call about some more photos. This root was dug about 30 miles from me in an area I am some what familiar with....

Billy.

p.s. did any of you guys see the plant that I found last year that had no forks on it at all,but just a steam and 10 leafs around the steam with nearly a one ounce root and many neck scarwes ? cant remember if i posted that one or not last year ??
