TOPIC: New with questions. ..

Hello, hoping I can get some advice. I have read the books. The Web sites ect. I'm finding some beautiful roots. How do I get the best price? I sold some already and the guy didn't even look at the roots. Just weighed and paid little.
I'm reading about man shape roots, old roots ect. I have some very old roots here and a couple man shaped.. should I just lump those in with the others or keep them aside? Does it really matter?
Any advice welcome...

despite all the advice I hear about taking care when digging the root to get it all,etc,etc I've basically had the same experience you've had, they take a very brief look at the roots, weight it and write me a check.
