What is the best way to ship wet ginseng? (other than peat moss)
Anyone have any other ways of keeping the roots fresh/moist? I can only get peat moss via internet, and the shipping cost is higher than I want to spend.
How far are you shipping? Are you shiiping to someone who wants to grow it? A couple days in plastic should be ok. If you are shipping to the end user, why not dry it?
I have been getting mine in moss or wrapped in wet towels (not dripping wet), then zip locked and they seem to be doing fine... even when I wasn't able to pick up the stuff at the post office for a week. They cook up nice. The stem or rootlet wasn't even rotten.
