I got a call yesterday if I would be interested in 8 lbs. of green ginseng.
I met him in town to take a look at what he had. The roots were huge and everyone of them had been cut, torn, skinned and what have you. The age of the roots looked to be about 10 to 12 year old and woods grown.
I told him if he had took his time and had dug them properly that they would have been worth about half what wild would be but I also told him he had probably got into someone's patch which he denied. No, I didn't buy them.
He absolutely butchered some nice roots.
