Has anyone ever wondered were national geographic came up with the idea to do a show on digging ginseng? Could the Chinese be paying them to produce such a show in order to flood the market to drive the price down..

I have thought the same exact thing! Now look. Everybody is out there digging and now no body is buying. *(scratches head)*

I've heard Billy mention that he's been approached about doing a seng digging show for quite a few years, and he kept turning them down. But who really knows the motive that the TV shows are approaching him in the first place.

I thought Billy Taylor was on one of these reality shows within the past year.

He was,it was called Filthy Riches.

As I understand the prevailing Communist Chinese mandate, they intend to dominate the world by economical means.

Kinda factors in to a conspiracy theory, yes?

OK, tightened my hat and thought very hard! Uhmmm, kinda short sighted on their part if that was the plan. A flooded market now just means a horribly short market later. There goes the prices sharply upward in the future. You can't just grow this stuff overnight!

Besides, they want well dug older roots, not the raped young roots that rookie diggers are digging.
