TOPIC: WNC price

Hey Billy, I've been reading the forum for a couple of weeks so I thought I would tell you that here in western NC where I'm located we have 2 dealers and they both have been at $425 for dry and $100 for green for about a week now. I enjoy the forum and the pics, I have been digging 40+ years and dug some of the biggest roots this year that I have ever found, but no 5s this year.

I to found some great root this year Mtn Man but I didnt find a 5 this year either I love them big ole rascals

Just thought I would bump this up in case anyone else is looking. We sold ours yesterday at $450 a lb. Was afraid it might go down in price so we went ahead and took the plunge.

Both the fellows that we sell to are listed on the ginseng dealers list to the left. Ronnie Mason is in Cherokee County and Ricky Teem is in Macon County. You might get a better deal if you look to see who is buying in your county, though.

I checked yeaterday and can get $450 in franklin and $440 here in whittier,,, I only have a pound+ and cost more than $10 to drive to Franklin,,,,
