Hey I'm kind of new to this. My grandfather hunted ginseng and showed me his patches when I was a young tot. He has been gone for 20years now and was to old to dig his last 10. So I thought I would give it a try! I dug an extremely Large root Today and I am unsure what to do with it. should I try and sell it green, or dry it and sell it with my average root? I will post pics later tonight but I have it wrapped in a moist paper towel and I left the stock on it. Also was very careful to get all the hair roots when dug. Some one please give me some advise on witch way to go here. I don?t want to mess up this root!!
If some one wants to buy it green, how should a guy ship it? How long will it stay alive?

That's a nice root. You should not mix it with the rest unless the rest of the roots have problems. You can sell it on Ebay, but keep in mind of legal issues.
