Does anyone know any ginseng buyers in Tennessee?

$300.00 to $350.00 a pound here in my area.....some upward movement in price the last couple of week's.....

the only ones i know here in tenn is curtis collake 423,442 3467 they was not buying last i heard but may now they are fair people to sell to another is charles white in dalton ga 706-259-8798 dont know a hole lot about them and they only will buy dark gingsang no red dirt grown usaly cheaper than everyone but its always good to have diffrent price to check another john warner /crossville tn/ 931-484-2131 good luck i have three pds im holding out for next yr

I live in Ga near Atlanta, but my stand is in VA. Never harvested before. We moved there in 1954. Family owned land before the Civil War. Never heard of anyone even using or knowing what ginseng was. Will harvest the old plants and leave a few. Will experiment with drying some of the leaves as I found out they are being used now. I have no reliable transportation but will at harvest time.
I will contact the man in GA but prefer someone in VA. Does anyone know a buyer in VA? Also, I think it is illegal in some states to have green ginseng roots between April and August.
