Well worth the extra money, since thats what my buyers want. I have no problem spending decent money if the roots are of best quality. Your making a lot of very good points.
Mature well handled roots should bring a premium price.
All roots are not valued at the same levels.
Each root dug and added to ones collection increases or decreases the value of that collection and so on as a dealer adds it to his/her collection for export.
We can not predict the size or age of the plants we will encounter in the woods however we have the ability to leave immature plants in the ground and to be carefull when harvesting the ones we choice to keep.
