TOPIC: Do I need a license...

I am a private individual seeking to purchase a few pounds of good quality wild ginseng for myself and my folks. I am not reselling or exporting them. Do I need a ginseng buyer's license when purchasing them from another state? If yes, are they easy to obtain? If no, how do I do it legally without a license and what should I look out for?

Jeff, that is a good question. I do not believe you would need a license but, #1, I could be incorrect here, and #2 why not buy within your own State? Are you where there is no sang?

I don't see why you would need a license to purchase small amounts for your own use.
