TOPIC: My backyard 'sang patch photos

My backyard 'sang patch photos 13 years 11 months ago #9892

I guess that all that will come up are up, there's about 50 plants back there. It's in the edge of the yard in woods about 15 feet deep. I think it's be boprderline enough shade... and hope that it does well. There's no direct sunlight on either place, and there are really two beds, on under the limbs and one along the ridge there.

there's about 25 here, this is the first bed that is under lots of tree branches.

Some individual plants in this bed.

BTW, these are seeds from our hosts here at Wildgrown.com

These are the three prongers from the ridge bed, which is better shaded, and 10' and to the right of the first bed.

These are seedlings from Hardings.

Please excuse the fuzziness here, it's a new camera, and I'm not as good with it yet as I will be.

Another view of that area. This area is all mostly in a line, rather than in a big bed. There's another 25 back there, however it's hard to get them all in one photo.

Congrats on your new three leafers!

That will be fun to watch grow, right in your own backyard.

Thanks for sharing!

Whitjr, is that slug residue that I see in the closeup picture?

Whitjr,

Nice looking 3 leafers !

It is nice to have some growing nearby like that so you can take a peak at them any time you want.

I can take about 10 steps out of my back yard down a nice little trail I cleared and see my seed producing bed and another spot where I have several 3 prongs (were 2's when I transplanted them a couple years ago) and a couple hundred 3 leafers that I planted this fall.

I find myself craving to go over there and take a peak every now and then and it is sure easy to do that.

Best of Luck with your new seedlings there - they are sure looking good so far !

No slug residue, it was raining when I took the photos. We do have slugs around here. tho, asnd I'll have to keep a look out for them.
