I checked out my seed producing bed this week and they have filled out nicely.

Looking good again this year. Most of them are 3 prongs now. The first few years I had them transplanted to this location several of them were 4 prongs, but they have slowly adjusted over the years and now most of them are just nice 3 prongers. I have one nice 4 prong in the bunch this year and a couple of double top 3 prongers.

The one at the top of the bed was a 5 prong when Billy sent it to me, but it changed back to a 4 prong for a few years and now is a 3 pronger.
That just shows you that ginseng (the tops) will adjust to their conditions. Better soil, better light, better top with more prongs.

They do look nice and healthy and have those big broad leaves so I think they are pretty happy where the are here in my seed producing bed.

As usual I have been hitting the river in my yack and bringing home some nice bass to eat.

Last weekend it had been nice and warm for several days and they were hitting top water pretty good. I caught a limit of bass on the old Rebel Pop R.

Love to catch em hitting that top water bait.

And of course you have to have some tomatoes growing.

Can't wait for these babies to get ripe.

Hope you all are having a good spring !
