TOPIC: anyone know about seedlings with spines on the viens?

Howdy! I have a few patches of ginseng sprouting in seperate spots. All but one are doing well. The one with problems has small spines sticking up out of the leaf viens. Anyone know what that is and is there a treatment for it or is it best to let it run its course?

Can you post a picture?? Not sure what you mean about the spines?? Maybe a fungus? Hard to tell without more details or pictures! Good luck!

Sorry for your luck. All panax quinquefolia plants have small hairs or spikes on the underside of their veins.
