TOPIC: Patches look pretty good.

Hey guys- Been off forum for a couple of weeks.

I retired two weeks ago. Yeah! Been camping and lounging, lounging and camping.... took two full weeks off and went to the Linville Gorge for part of it.

Last Sat, I ended my vacation with putting in another patch --almost and acre in size. Prepped it, and added lime and gypsum to it... and will seed it this fall.

More work on the hillside. It's Careful work on a 25 - 30 degree slope...

We use the cut lap to wall off the patch, an effort towards deer controll. BTW, I picked two very nice trees for hunting from; later this year.

More photos from Sat... me being \"Saw King.\" When you are running 3 chainsaws, someone has to be the one to keep 'em running... we had a crew of 8 that day, 3 cutting, 4 pulling and making walls, me supervisng and fixing saws...
