Hi, I have an area in Central Wisconsin where I would like to plant a small ginseng plot of about 1/2 an acre this fall. Then the following fall I will plant another 1/2 acre. I received my soil sample report with the following values on it. I spoke with the land agent and he recommended using a mix of N=90 / Phosphorous=15 / K2O=130 on the land this fall before I plant.
Here are the sample results from a North side slope with lots of old Oak trees:
Soil pH=5.6
O.M%=1.4
Phosphorous ppm=38
Potassium=89
Texture Code=2
Sample Density=1.22
Buffer pH=6.8
Thanks in advance!
Doug
