If there wasn't any Ginseng emerging at all you'll probably be ok. Glyphosate deactivates when in contact with the soil but there are some concerns with possible residue on leaf litter and an emerging plant rubbing against it as it pushes through. If im going to do it, I like for there to be a rain on the way in the next day or so but still have 4-6 hours of absorbing time in daylight hours before it starts. It's suppose to be rainfast in a couple hours but in cloudy, cool conditions I have seen it not take several times. If you have had a sufficient amount of time and since it's close to your house, stretch a hose out there and give the area a little shower if it put's you at ease. I know how it is, Im very O.C.D when it comes to this kind of thing.
