With most of the ginseng season behind us, as we come out of the holidays (Merry Christmas everyone!) it will be time to look to off season issues like forming up the Grower's & Digger's Association. Most of the meetings which affect ginseng laws and regulations happen in early spring. So now is the time.

I can't expand a lot on this subject here because of the desires of our gracious host and his forum rules.
However, I can say that as of this moment, I will be the only person who has access to any identifying information. If this works out how I wish, that will never change. Your identifying information (name, address, and email) will remain completely confidential and you will be recognized only as a screen name much like here on the forum (only much more secure).
Those who have contacted me already, be watching for that follow up email I promised sometime in the next week or so.
Of special interest right now to Ohio growers... I am in the process of trying to get a specific date for a meeting with the ginseng management program team. At this meeting you will not be asked your information, but you may participate in the round table discussion about the need for updating the Ohio ginseng regulations.
