TOPIC: Going this weekend to the mountains!

Going this weekend to the mountains! 11 years 4 months ago #23086

I've had a badly sprained ankle since Memorial Day. Now it's better... meant to get to the mountain patches like thee weeks ago, however that ankle was not \"mountain-ready.\"

Both patches are in good growth, looking forward to seeing them! going to add more Nutrigro spray to both patches. However instead of a soil amendment, am going to only do a foliar spray. Had excellent luck with that last year.

Will post photos early next week!

Whitt..

Hope you find your patches doing well and your ankle holds out for climbing the mountain sides.

Where do you get this nutrigro product ?

Is it Organic ?

I did a couple of web searches and found a Nutrigrow for Growing Hair :-)

I did find another Nutrigrow for Veggies, but it said it was high in Nitrogen.

I have not sprayed anything on my wild simulated stuff, but have considered giving my seed producing bed something that might boost production there.

If you can find your product on the web and include a link - that would be helpful.

Thanks

TNHunter- Had a family emergency last weekend, and was not able to get up there.

However plan on getting therer this weekend.

The Nutrigro product is the same one I posted about last year... it's a micronutrient stimulation of poor soils. Since my soil base is recently out from under the Rhodo, this was important.

I was happy to finally get there this weekend. Here's some photos of the crop... all-in-all I'm very happy with the emergance this year.

the first on is of a bed about 1/2 up the hill. this is in the middle of the hillside, with beds similar to this both up and down the hill.

It was another rainy day here in the soverign sate of North RainForrest Carolina. Seems like we've had daily rains for over a month. While this doesen't make for the best pic-taking lighting, everything is sure growing well!

Pic two is of another bed, a little higher up the hill.

I've got the opportunity to spread my guys out within the patch. There are a few other beds where we cleared out brush that can hold the 2 year olds after transplanting.

Pice three is a bit higher up the hill. We have a bunch of beds here in this patch. some are short [10'], some are very long [80 ft]. All are about 5 - 6 feet wide.

I think the percent of shade is really good, on our north-facing slope. This view is about 1/2 of patch one
