Funny thing I was just checking out another thread and this plant is the exact same one TNhunter asked about. Its hard to tell but it has the same fuzzy leaves just as TNhunter mentioned, this one has just begun to flower.

Maybe you can figure it out by the flower. I found a really handy site for identifying plants by their flower. Although it may take a bit of digging. I've identified most of the plants on my land with it: http://thismia.com/

The common name around here is Hound's Tongue. The coarse feeling of the leaves is supposed to be similar to a dog's tongue.
