I always look for bargains. Some of the best seed I ever planted was $50 a lb. about 10 years ago some of the worst was $75 a lb. and I've bought from at least 6 different suppliers or more over the past 18 t0 20 years.

I agree with Rootman, bargains always are a prime consideration to me.

HillHopper- thanks for sharing that experience about Glacial Gold. When ytou look at their website, it's very impressive. I bought a small order from them some years ago, and noticed the sand there. However, I was truely ignorant, and having no relative experience, accepted the sand as a part of the deal. It's sound advice you gave.
