I've been growing ginseng for only 3 years. I've noticed that the seeds that I plant first have a higher germination rate. I normally store the seeds that I have not planted yet in the refrigerator. I am careful not to allow the seeds to dry out. As the planting season goes on, some of the seeds have been stored in the fridge for several weeks. These seeds seems to have a much lower germination rate. Do you have any experience or anecdotal evidence about decreased or delayed germination from storing seeds in the refrigerator?
If so, what is the remedy? Thanks so much for you help. Perhaps other sangers have had this problem...
