TOPIC: New Ginseng Planting Bed Pics

Hey it's been a while since anyone has posted pics of their \"Sea of Green\" new planting bed pics. Where are all the pics of that carpet of green babies?

From Maine in the far northern zone. Thousands of My 2,3 and 4 yr olds just started emerging about a week ago. Temps have been in the 50's.

I checked on some seedlings yesterday and none have emerged. Checked under the mulch and saw many seeds that were pushing their roots out. So it won't be long.

Plenty of rain and cool weather.

I thing seedlings will start poking through starting next week.

In the meantime I am enjoying the emergence show with the 2,3 and 4 yr olds.

P.S. Did Your Trilliums come up ok?

Sounds like you are going to have a bunch of seng. I have been meaning to email you. The Trillium came up great and was beautiful! Must have had 15 flowers on it or more. It is so large and I can't wait to harvest some seed from it to spread it around in my shade garden. Thanks again!

A lot of plants emerging, but with the cool weather(in the 50's) majority of them look like Old Ladies with Hunched Backs. Only a few have opened up fully.

4 yr old. Notice the Berry Spike. Also look how the plant grew through that leaf.
