TOPIC: First Year Ginseng Growth/ First For Me

I have been looking forward to checking to see if my fall planting was going to pan out. Check the beds today and from what I think they have emerged.

Yep - that's what they look like for sure. Nice looking 3 leafers.

Every once in a while you will find one with 4 or even 5 leaves the first year. Last year I had two that came up with 5 leaves the first year. Most of the time they only have 3 - just like your photo's.

Now if you can just get them to survive another 10 years
