TOPIC: Thought you might like to see these videos

It was a beautiful day in East Tennessee and I thought that I would get out and check out some of the sites that I had planted this past Fall. The young fellows are starting to come up and East Tennessee is dressed in her finest. I thought you might enjoy seeing where I grew up and how I came to love this type of outdoor life. Nice video. Looks like your seng is up about the same as mine now.

I checked out several of my wild simulated plantings yesterday and found lots of 3 leafers up, but even more second year plants up than 3 leafers.

It was good to see those second year plants up considering how our season ended early last year and many expired in July because of the extreme heat and drought... but now many of those that passed away early last year are up and looking good as little 2 prongs. Several even had two prongs with all 5 leaflets on the sets.

When you see em starting to make progress like that even thru difficult times, that sure adds hope for a future harvest !

Nice video Hugh! Sure is some beautiful country down there. I've vacationed in or near the Smokies several times in my life and look foreward to making it back down again a few more times in this lifetime
