Latt,
My wife's sister and her husband are in China now - adopting a little girl.
They left on the 15th and are coming back on the 30th - we go pick them up at the air port this friday evening.
They have 3 kids of their own - a boy and two girls, like age 11, 9 and 6, but have been blessed and felt they needed to adopt another and well they did.
I have two kids 15 and 10... and we have kept their 3 kids while they are over there getting all of the details worked out.
It has been a little crazy around here with all of the kids, but it has been a good experience too.
We do a facetime/skype session with them each morning and evening which helps the kids a lot to actually see them, no doubt it helps the mom/dad too.
They have a full plate of paperwork and meetings to get done each day, but also some down time like for a trip to the zoo and parks.
I thought about sending a few nice seng roots over there with my brother in law, just in case he could show them to someone and see what kind of price they might bring on the street (or in a seng shop) in China. I did not want to impose though... and doubt they would have had time to do that anyway.
Sounds like they are basically out of American Ginseng now so a few nice roots might have fetched a good price.
If they are out now, perhaps this fall the price will go high again - hope so !
