B-Castle Thank you buddy
Tn-hunter as always it is good to talk to you my friend.I came by once in awhile and read about your plantings and sevral of the other guys also.I hope that all of the work that everyone is doing realy pays off.
My greatest hope is that by introducing so much seed into so many different areas and states by all of the different ginseng hunters that we know that the reward is actualy above all that we exspect and will see in our own time.I often thought of the makers master plan, how that he produced every herb yeilding its seed to reproduce and continue its life span over througout the generations.Due to thee need, and desire of the roots sometimes they are over dug, that is where reading about all of the planting that everyone is doing blesses me so much.Just to know that we are all doing a small part to restore. In the years that our ginseng grows, nature will move in and take its course, many seed will be consumed and carryed away by turkeys, deer, fowl and then redistributed through the drought to drop seed in areas that we may not have even walked, and then seedlings will grow, over time many, many areas will be populated by the seed that we have planted.Every season now i buy extra seed and cast them in the way,in areas that I never plan to dig even ruff places that I find in journeys, they will soon be to ruff for me to return there, big rock ledges etc.
It makes my heart glad to think of it this way that maybe Cole and Caleb will stand one day and have fond memories in there hearts after we have gone the way of life.
Tn: I look forward to seeing your photos this season and many others I also hope that the 5-prong comes up for you and is a big pretty 5 fork with a tea cup of berries
When I go back to see how the seeds have done I will photo the area for you and post the photos with some exsplanation with them as to what i like about the area.
Whitjr Thanks man I to am confident in the location It is public land and there is a good chance that a person who enjoys the Mountians as well as we do may find the ginseng in the future years before actual harvest time should come, but it want be by the spot digger that wants to just jump out of the vehicle and dig etc It would take a dedicated Hunter and one willing to travel the old fashon way
to find it,it lays behind another ridge,But if a good old digger finds it I can just imagine the look on his face as he begins to thank God for such a bountiful harvest after all the Father has blessed me so many times that I can not loose and many many times I have stood and thanked him for the bountiful harvest that I never sowed, yet I reaped. To me to begin,to end and all that we are blessed with through out the start and finish even is all apart of the life and times he gives us.I hope that Caleb and L.Bill one day see this harvest, but if not I hope they remember the adventure of it.I do have the spot memorised.
