TOPIC: Last of my seed planted

Last of my seed planted 13 years 1 month ago #13971

Had to plant the rest of my seed yesterday because I noticed one or two starting to sprout.Probably at a good time since they are giving heavy frost warnings for the weekend here in southeastern KY. The leaves will really be coming down which will add more mulch.

I also got my seed bed of 120 plants plants 10 ft. x 20 ft. finished with wire mesh covering the sides and over the top. I also put a truck load of poplar leaf mulch, see how it settles down if I have to add more. Now will be the anxious wait over the winter to see how everything turns out.

Hey bud sounds like you really know what you are doin. im a long time digger and im gonna plant for the first time this year. I live in western nc, when do you think is the best time to plant? I have heard some say late fall/ early winter and some say late winter/early spring just wandering what your take was on this.

sengroots,
I'd plant now and let the falling leaves help on giving the seed a nice even coverage.
