Hello all. This is a great site here. I have checked out this and others, and have found conflicting statements about the best way to go about starting out. Hopefully you all can clear up some of the ??.

1. Planting in the spring(March/April) or fall? I have heard of higher yields planting in the spring, but almost everywhere else I read says plant in the fall.

2. I have also read planting anywhere from 40-125 pounds of seeds per acre. I would assume you don't want to crowd out the plants, but they need to be given enough room to flourish as well.

3. If and when I do start planting seeds, is it better to buy them already germinated or germinate them myself? And also, should I buy rootlets to plant along with the seeds?

4. Does anyone have any experience growing wild simulated in Michigan? If so, I would love to hear from you.
