I use a lot of the spectricide.It will work on some things but not Brush.Its Diquat based.It only works as a defoliant on Woody stemmed Plants.It works pretty good on Grasses though.You may look into Generic Brand Round Up if you want to go cheaper.You may also look into 2,4,D Amine based Killers too.They are more designed for killing Brush and under growth.If you are near a Local Co-op look for what is call Tordon RTU it is a type of Stump killer to treat freshly cut Stumps.It comes in a Squeeze bottle and a Quart of it goes a long way.
