TOPIC: The ginseng I got at the supermarket is growing!

So I have been away for two weeks, and when I got home I found that my ginseng root had grown! Usually it doesn't last long enough at my place for something like this to happen. What do I do with this? Can I plant it?

I am completely new to this, so any help is very appreciated.

That looks like a Ginger Root. Not Ginseng!
