Hi. I'm Tom Woods. Back in 1993 I started growing American ginseng here where I live in the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire. I have learned a lot about ginseng's habits; I've made mistakes; there have been successes too. I try to keep cultivation practices to a bare minimum, preferring to emulate wild ginseng as much as possible. Now after all this time I am beginning to see maturing plants. Last fall, for the first time, I was able to plant seeds that had been home grown rather than purchased. Good luck with your ginseng!

I have been planting for a couple years now. There are some \"native\" plants here on the property. Not many though. I have attended a few workshops on sang and have learned enough to know, I have a whole lot more to learn.

Hey Tom, I would love to here more of your experience with sang. Are you planting in mass or just a few seeds here and there? So far mine has been broadly scattered but, I would like to try some in mass areas too. I can't see making much money at this by just the few seeds here and there method. Are you planting for income or for the joy of it? thanks
