TOPIC: Roadside habitat ?

I notice several populations of bloodroot growing roadside in places where they should not naturally occur. Can bloodroot seeds be spread by vehicles to new locations ?

Anything is possible, but more than likely the bloodroot was there before the road was put in or it just filled in from nearby populations.
