TOPIC: Harvest Bloodroot?

Anyone know a place where I could harvest some bloodroot in central or eastern KY? I might be able to share some of the profit with the land owner.

daniel boone forest issues permits to harvest bloodroot but i dont know the cost or how much you are allowed to harvest

It's $20 for a 10 pound permit in the DBNF. I assume that's a green weight and I don't think anyone could come out a ahead on that deal.

not very generous are they . its been since 2000 since i bought any permits from them but i didnt know they had got so stingy ha if you live near any mineing land im sure you could harvest some their ive also had good luck on timberco. land most will let you dig whatever as long as you stay out of active work zones good luck
