TOPIC: My Bloodroot Patch

These roots are very large and very close together. I would say there is 1/2 an acre maybe 3/4 like this. Just thought it was a nice picture to share...I enjoy seeing others so I assume others will enjoy seeing mine.

I have planted some Black Cohosh in amongst one of my patches. Now I'm thinking that I should plant bloodroot in another... ever sell any to folks?

I have sold plants in pots to folks. I have not dug and dried it to sell. The local dealer guy said he could give me $12 maybe more a pound. I figure I will dig it if I need the money. This year i went and collected seed pods, it was easy to fill a grocery sack....seriously. I sprinkled them by every ant hill I saw and planted a hillside just as an experiment. Also, I did not plant this, it is natural, just happens to be back behind my farm.
