TOPIC: Is anyone growing for commercial prouction?

I've planted a bed about 60\" long, used both roots and seed to do it. Last years growth was very good, and am looking forward to this year's growth.

Got a deer problem, tho....

I dont know anyone personaly but it seems to sprought easily from small pieces left over after choping . I have used the waste after choping washing ect. in my ginseng beds and now they are covered with cohosh so I think it would be easy to cultivate dont know if theres money to be made their though.

Leebros, did the waste you are talking about have any buds, or will it form new buds from the small feeder roots?

It did have some buds but i think even small cutlins will sprout and grow a new plant in fact when i havest wild cohose i like to cut off a small piece and put back in the hole to grow a new plant.
